People Return to Streets of Athens After Claims of Chemical Warfare on Protesters

Battle breaks out in Tahrir Square, once again
“Security forces and demonstrators clash in Cairo after former interior minister’s trial is put off without explanation. Clashes between protesters and security forces engulfed Cairo once again on Tuesday night, as the fiercest street battles since the fall of Hosni Mubarak left dozens injured.
Fighting began after dark, following earlier protests by relatives of those killed during this spring’s uprising.
Armed central security police showered Tahrir Square with tear gas canisters and fired bullets into the air as several thousand demonstrators amassed and called for the resignation of Egypt’s de facto head of state, Field Marshall Mohamed Hussein Tantawi.
Some members of the crowd tore up paving stones and threw them towards police lines.”
“Fearing that their release could pose a risk to national security because they might incite violence, President Obama has decided not to make public any postmortem photos of al-Qaida leader Osama bin Laden, the White House announced this afternoon.”
So; let’s see here, now. The body was disposed of at sea, therefor the number of medical examiners who could look at and test the body and its subsequent DNA for evidence that it indeed was Osama Bin Laden is highly limited. And we all know the more repetition you get and the more opinions you get, the more “real” truth is reached. Now photos won’t be released, so computer facial scans testing the bone structure of the corpse with photos and videos previously released of Osama can’t be run. Interesting…
The fact that this is actual news to people is pathetic. His ghost was only kept around by the government as a fear-mongering tactic and as a “legitimate” excuse to tromp around in the Middle East.

The BP spill in the Gulf: One year later
“It’s been called the worst environmental disaster in U.S. history, and rightfully so, if for no other reason than because, one year later, the BP oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico is like the nightmare gift that keeps on giving, some experts are saying.”

» Tracking Page: Japan’s Nuclear Meltdown, Aftershocks & Fallout
‘Following Japan’s nuclear plant emergency and earthquake aftermath, this page will continue to monitor the ongoing situation, and will include added content as we know more.’
“An American nuclear expert says radiation from Japan could spread across the Pacific and reach the United States if a complete meltdown occurs at a Japanese nuclear facility damaged as a result of last week’s earthquake and subsequent tsunami….
‘The worst-case scenario is that the fuel rods fuse together - temperatures get so hot that [they] melt together into a radioactive molten mass that busts through the containment mechanisms. So they spew radioactivity into the ground, into the air, into the water. Some of that radioactivity could carry in the atmosphere to the west coast of the United States.’”
