There’s a serious distinction between ending the state and ending broadly construed authoritarianism. While there’s plenty of overlap between the two, they are fundamentally different battles. We can end some state or other, but that won’t guarantee the absence of authoritarianism. The latter is a belief system, and ending it will ipso facto require peaceful parenting and a forward shift in consciousness at the very least. It will take generations. Putting an end to the state here and now ought to be done with an eye toward the broader goal of ending authoritarianism, otherwise it’s wasted effort.
